Gary Wilson has joined The Faraday Team as an Electrical Lecturer and will be delivering our wide range of electrical power training courses to clients in the UK and internationally. Gary will be lecturing in sectors including oil and gas, marine and offshore, engineering, construction, chemical, government and the public sector.
Gary served in the Royal Air Force for 22 years as an Electrical Technician. He also has vast lecturing experience as he has spent the last 11 years delivering apprenticeships and commercial training to engineers in the electrical sector. Gary was also part of the team that set up the Jubilee Technical Training Centre at Takoradi Technical University, Takoradi, Ghana. The centre now successfully trains local Ghanaian lecturers to deliver and assess NVQ level 2 awards.
The appointment of Gary is just the beginning of Faraday’s planned growth for 2018. After doubling our operating space in 2017 with the move to new purpose designed headquarters on the Wilton site, expansion is inevitable. With this in mind, we are also in the process of recruiting another two Electrical Lecturers and two Electrical Instructors. The growth within the team ensures our new facility is able to run to its maximum capacity, filling all 12 classrooms on offer.
We wish Gary every success as part of the Faraday team, we are sure his wealth of experience will ensure we continue to thrive as Specialists in Electrical Training and Consultancy. Welcome aboard!
