Periodic Inspection and Testing

This award combines two existing LCL initial verification/periodic inspection and reporting qualifications which give the delegate an understanding of the theory and practice involved with the initial verification and commissioning and also the periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting of both single and three phase electrical installations. These awards follow BS7671 and the industry recognised IET Guidance Note 3.

To give delegates theoretical and practical experience in the implementation of a formal inspection and testing regime for electrical equipment.

It is a prerequisite that all candidates who undertake this course are qualified electricians. Candidates will need to supply us with their qualification on the first day of the Inspection and Testing course. We will take a photocopy of it and keep it on file as per LCL’s GDPR regulations.

Please note all candidates must provide D.O.B, Postcode for Certificates to be sent to and NI numbers in order to be registered for the exam, this information must be added to any booking forms sent in.
