The anticipated publication date of the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations is July 2018. What will be the key changes likely to be included in the BS 7671:2018.
It is now less than one year until the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring regulations will be finalised and published. The new standard is expected to be available around 1st July 2018, with electrical contractors and electricians given a six month transition period to get up to speed with the changes. From 1st January 2019, it will then be a requirement that all electrical installations designed after this date comply with BS 7671:2018, 18th Edition (2018).
