High Voltage Testing Package (T1, T2 & T3) (TP3)

This package combines some of our high voltage testing courses and covers: Electrical Pressure Testing (dielectric strength testing) (T1), Earth Electrode Testing (T2) and Transformer Design, Construction, Testing & Maintenance (T3). These courses may be taken in any sequence.

High Voltage Switchgear Operation Package up to 15kV (S9 + S4) (TP1)

This package covers the Practical Introduction to the Safe Operation of High & Low Voltage Switchgear (S9) and The Safe Operation of High Voltage Power Systems (S4); the S9 course serves as a precursor to the S4. This package would be suitable for those who have LV electrical experience but limited HV competency and would like to gain some practical experience in HV switching. The package must be taken in the sequence of S9 followed by S4.

Electrical Safety Awareness for Hybrid Systems (H1)

This course explains the requirements and the implications of the UK Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 for those responsible for electrical safety at work, safe handling of batteries and associated electrical hazards in the Hybrid/Electric Industry. It clearly outlines the duties and responsibilities of everyone affected by the legislation.

Electrical Pressure Testing (Dielectric Strength Testing) (T1)

This course covers the theoretical and practical principles of pressure testing on high voltage distribution systems up to and including 15kV. It covers the different insulating material characteristics as well as the methods used to enable the pressure testing of high voltage equipment, including cables, switchgear, transformers and motors. The course strongly emphasises safety requirements and interpretation of test results.
