The Safe Receipt of Sanction for Test Documents (S8)

This course is designed to enable those who are required to carry out testing on high voltage equipment to become authorised to receive sanction for test documents in relation to safe practices and legislation applicable to high voltage power systems up to and including 15kV. It includes both classroom theory and practical exercises.
Upon completion, candidates will be assessed to a competency level suitable for an Authorised Person (AP) requiring receipt of sanction for test documents. Beyond the fixed dates offered, this course does also operate on demand (minimum of 3 attendees required) – please contact us for further information and options.

Who should attend?
Personnel with prior knowledge of the inspection, operation, maintenance and repair of high voltage electrical power systems.
Personnel who are to be responsible, as an authorised/senior authorised person, for electrically testing systems following the receipt of sanction for test documents.
Certifications
Candidates who successfully complete the course and both theoretical and practical assessments will receive The Faraday Centre competence certificate. Candidates who fail will receive The Faraday Centre attendance certificate.
