Access to Electrical Substations and Switchrooms (S2)
This course covers the safe access to electrical substations and switchrooms and working in the vicinity of high voltage electrical equipment as well as competency in safe access procedures and receipt of appropriate safety documents.

Who should attend?
Electrical/non-electrical personnel with no previous experience of electrical power systems, who require restricted authorisation to allow access to areas containing high voltage electrical apparatus with a view to undertaking specific duties.
Certifications
This course is certified by The CPD Certification Service.
Candidates who successfully complete the course and both theoretical and practical assessments will receive The Faraday Centre competence certificate. Candidates who fail will receive The Faraday Centre attendance certificate.
