As part of our commitment to meeting the ever-evolving needs of industry, we have introduced four new courses to our range.
We have added three new EAL courses, which make a welcome addition to our low voltage training courses, and these are:
- EAL Level 3 Award in the In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT – Portable Appliance Testing) (QCF) – This two day course is designed for electrical and non-electrical personnel who have the responsibility of carrying out formal visual inspections and tests of portable appliances. This course gives an understanding of the theory and practice of the in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment; commonly referred to as PAT testing.
- EAL Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2008 (2015) (QCF) – This three day course provides an understanding of the application of the IET Wiring Regulations 17th Edition. It provides a facility for individuals working in the electrotechnical sector to develop their knowledge of the Requirements for Electrical Installation. The qualification covers the full content of BS 7671: IET Wiring Regulations 17th Edition incorporating amendment no.3 (2015).
- EAL Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (QCF) 600/4337/4 & EAL Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (QCF) 600/4338/6 – This six day course gives delegates an understanding of the theory and practice involved with the initial verification and commissioning and also the periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting of both single and three phase electrical installations.
We have also launched a new course which aims to up skill mechanical and non-electrical technicians, with the aim of making them electrically competent: - Up Skilling – Electrical Skills Training Course to become Electrically Competent Persons – This course is made up of five day modules which provides a theoretical and practical foundation in the skills required to install, maintain and operate low voltage electrical equipment associated with industry.
